School Meals

If you have any dietary requirements that you would like to discuss with us please speak to the school office team. Please note - we have children with nut allergies in school and therefore ask that you do not send nuts or nut products in your child's packed lunches, please.
As well as the main hot dinner, jacket potatoes or the vegetarian choice of the day we also have a packed lunch option for children - the children love it! Children will receive a freshly filled sandwich or roll, a healthy snack, a home-baked goodie and a piece of fruit. All this for the same great value £2.88! Meals are cooked and prepared to order.
A school meal is £2.88 per day (£14.40 per week) and we need this to be paid in advance of meals being taken, via The Pantry Portal. All children in Reception and KS1 are entitled to a Universal Free School Meal each day.
We offer total flexibility giving children the choice of a dinner on any day by ordering on The Pantry Portal. You can order a week at a time or anything up to a half term at a time if you wish to, but please note any menu changes that are sent out by the Pantry. You will also need to ensure you cancel any pre-booked meal if your child is off for any reason and no longer requires that meal.
Please encourage your child to bring a healthy snack e.g. fruit, raisins, plain biscuits. No chocolate or sweets. Fruit is provided each day free of charge for children in EYFS and KS1.

Free School Meals
Are you eligible for Free School Meals?
As part of our commitment to "Progress through Partnership" we have brought our Free School Meal checking process under one team at Norfolk County Council rather than splitting the service across Norfolk and Suffolk local authorities depending upon which of our Trust schools your child is attending. There will be no difference to the way your child receives meals or is supported at school as a result of this change, we are just simplifying our processes and reducing administration time and cost of checking eligibility moving forwards.
